Meeks Store (locator map) is one of 55 buildings, perhaps a mile of fence, and scores of trees created by digital illustrator Chris Casady for the birds-eye view of Appomattox Court House National Historical Park, Virginia. The curtains barely visible in the upstairs windows and the worn centers of the stair steps show Chris's meticulous attention to detail. On the final printed brochure Meeks Store measured a mere 1.3 centimeters wide. The side of the building shown above is not visible to readers.
